Programs we build and support

Vision:

That Technical Education, Certification, and Job experience supports both personal and professional growth and development.

Background Goals and Ambitions

We expect five (5) major touchpoints from our collaboration

  1. Identify Candidates for homes.
  2. Identify Sponsors to help build.
  3. Reserve Space at MakerSpaces
  4. Promote Monthly Projects that get to the goal of 40.
  5. Provide Fiduciary Support for Quarterly and Annual Events to keep everyone in the loop.

As an organization/individual who is an active part of the Maker community, we/I recognize the important role that the Maker Movement is playing in creating more opportunities in education, entrepreneurship and workforce development, local and advanced manufacturing and making our communities better places to live, work and play.

  1. We build things that work and have value
  2. We build a community from that work and value
  3. We support job growth organically through Technical Vocational Education.

The California Employment Training Panel (ETP) provides funding to employers to assist in upgrading the skills of their workers through training that leads to good-paying, long-term jobs. The ETP was created in 1982 by the California State Legislature and is funded by California employers through a special payroll tax.

In fact, in 2018, The State of California’s Employment Training Panel announced it approved 55 contracts worth more than $13 million to train nearly 14,000 workers. The panel awarded nearly $122,000 to the California Tooling and Machining Apprenticeship Association (CTMAA) to train 41 Apprentices.

What this means to me that we offer small business owners (middle-class relief) while providing the advancement of training for workers who can, in turn, provide economic and education stimulus organically back to their respective communities.

The Tiny Home Honey Bee Haven Project in this one-year proposal will discuss are not new to our community.

  1. But the fact that 68% of the homeless in San Jose are under 17years old is.
  2. The proposed 7K temporary Accessible Dwelling Units provided by Habitat for Humanity can be enhanced.
  3. People need more than housing to survive Training and Access to jobs that pay for the new skills must be included (hence the sponsorship)

However; we/I fully believe that when placed under the prism of social entrepreneurs; a broker can provide a fresh new perspective and outlook that results in outcomes generating enterprise and agency to our citizens.

We want to see more students, adults, and families have access to the tools, technologies, experiences, and knowledge to make anything. Makers are creative and innovative and are already solving some of society’s most pressing problems. To ensure this is possible in the future, we need to have a thriving, connected and inclusive community of practice centered around collaboration.

OUR VALUE PROPOSITION

To the employer, we help increase revenue, expand into new markets, manage change and stakeholder buy-in, increase customer satisfaction, and achieve your other strategic objectives through creating highly effective internal and external partnering relationships.

Our Social Motive, and Value Proposition

Give fathers, and their families a vision that they have a unique and irreplaceable role in the life of their child along with increased confidence and changes in attitude and skills is a powerful motivator for successful reentry into a community.

Using Pay for Performance Business Matrix, Combing a Social Value Index, that tracks to innovation and careers, allows for society to validate our ability to offer consistent results.  Local/Regional/National Employers provide money to pay for education, training, and equipment (such as tools), offer advice, encouragement, and connections.
